I have the Blade v6 with countervail which I love so much because of the control and feel aspect of the racquet. My partner likes my old blade so I was thinking of buying one as a birthday gift for him. Perhaps, to convert him from Yonex to Wilson. However, it took a while for Wilson Australia to sell the Roland Garros version which looks amazing. When Wilson finally released it, I immediately bought one with express shipping. I have been informed by customer service that it will be dispatched within a week. Each day, I waited for it to be processed but there were no progress. I have messaged each day with no response. I have called the hotline as detailed on the website but ended up talking to the voicemail. Unfortunately, it was not delivered within a week. No surprise birthday gift to be given. I tried to be diplomatic with my messages with Wilson but ended up with an empty response. I got a refund for my express shipping though. However, it won’t pay for the lost time. For the person reading this, if you value your time, but really want this RG racquet version… just buy from other online retailers such as tennisdirect or tennisonly.
