Wilson’s relationship with our athletes has always gone beyond the court. We're invested in their journey. To design for their biggest moments it’s vital to understand who they are, not only as players, but as people.
Upon signing Marta Kostyuk as our first 360 athlete in 2023, a rewarding collaboration took root. One that's only deepened with time and trust. Marta trusts Joelle Michaeloff, Chief Creative Officer of Sportswear, and her team will build her a kit to feel, look, and be her best on center court. Joelle and her team know Marta will deliver invaluable feedback, direct and detailed.
Working alongside Marta in this infinite cycle of inspiration, design, revision, and creation has been an honor and privilege. It’s pushed every design to new performance and aesthetic heights.
Now, the new Marta Dress ushers in the next era of athlete-led design.
Design Progress: It Begins with Marta...
In August 2025, Marta Kostyuk and Joelle, Chief Creative Officer of Sportswear, met in DC to begin dreaming up the next extraordinary moment: Marta’s grass slam kit.
Like every design it began with the athlete. How did Marta want to feel when she stepped onto the legendary London lawns? How did she envision herself looking? Moving?
Then, we looked at the tournament. Because it’s London, the kit needed to be white to meet the time-honoured dress code and conventionally demure, without losing Marta’s singular avant-garde edge.

Manifestation: The Marta Dress
The Marta Dress honours the dress code and the enigmatic duality of Marta herself. Both timeless and subversive, refined and ruthless, heritage-drawn and future-proof.
The kit, complete with built-in support and liner shorts, is crafted in innovative, sweat-defying, 4-way stretch technical lace. While the dress appears delicate, it proves to be indestructible. Cleverly full-coverage, the full-scoop body reveals a cami bra with perfectly aligned lace patterning (but nothing else). The lavish two-tier skirt levitates and monochrome ivory spotlights the intoxicating textures.
In essence, the Marta Dress is a celebration of what's possible when athletes lead.
